Is having male besties a bad thing?

I already have female friends now, but once upon a time I was very lonely and started making online friends, then I realized I had so many female friends and male friemds, is it a bad thing to have male besties, should I delete them? I don't have a boyfriend by the way

Well. It depends on how mature you are and if you clearly set boundaries that both of you understand. Although he is a male friend there's no reason if you're in a relationship that you should be hanging out alone.. That's why a majority of women with male best friends don't come off as a threat because they are usually gay. Now if it's a childhood friend or a friend you grew up with then there's room but definitely a no go if you've not known the guy very long. That's how relationships become fragile and insecure. You would not want your man hanging out with another woman saying they are just friends. No matter what you say.. you'd feel some type of way and your imagination woulf take over.
