Do you get upset or take offense if you suggest/recommend someone try or check something out they say 'ok' and then they don't?

So for instance you suggest they watch a movie or try a certain food and they say they will but then you find out they never do it. would this upset you?

Yes because why say yes when they won't do it?

No i don't care

It doesn't upset me but i would likely not recommend or suggest them anything else again

I do that all the time (say you'll check something out based on someones recommendation and don't ever do it)

Gahhh my best friend does this. I’ll tell her about a TV show or movie that I think she’d love and she says she’ll watch it (She never does). And then months to years later, she’ll develop a crush on someone and they’ll recommend that she watches a TV show or movie (that I have recommend many times before) and she’ll watch it straight away and then message me saying “have you seen this tv show/movie? It’s great!” Not realising that I’m the one who originally recommended it 🥲

I mostly don't care. Mostly, because if it is related to my close family, I care a lot. I don't get upset or take offense but I worry and check from time to time if I can be of any help to them.
