Should I ask my Best friends permission to talk about her positively and in a great way to my parents?

My Best Friend is mad at me because I didn't ask her permission to talk about her to my parents, even though I said nothing bad, negative, rude or personal in any way. All I said to my parents is that they are a great friend and they always give me great advice on my problems.

I'd try explaining to her that you weren't talking behind her back or sharing personal stuff. Reassure her you've always got her back too. Getting mad about a friendly shout out seems a little much.

Maybe in the future just give her a heads up as a courtesy. Like "hey I was telling my parents how cool you are, hope that's not a problem." Could have avoided this whole thing.

But nah man, you don't gotta get approval to say nice things about someone. I'm sure your folks just appreciate you have good people in your life. She'll chill out, don't stress! Just smooth it over, you'll be gaming together in no time.
