I've never even done anything to make her not like me. She doesn't even seem to let my best friend and I hang out anymore, it's ridiculous and I don't get why he allows this bs. She's like a total narcissist and he doesn't even see it, has to be in total control of everything.
Opinions? She clearly sees me as a threat and I don't get why.

it has nothing to do with you and everything to do with her wanting to control and isolate her husband so he depends on her only. and yeah that is sad
Dude this sucks, but I think I've seen this play out before with some buddies. Once they tie the knot, sometimes the wife gets super jealous of guy time/friendships. Like she feels threatened or something. Total buzzkill!
With your bro, my guess is she's worried you'll "corrupt" him away from family life or some BS. Like she can't handle him having fun without her. Kinda sounds like she's got some issues, ya know?
I'd say keep trying to see your boy one-on-one when you can. Do stuff she wouldn't be into so she can't tag along. He can't let her totally cockblock the friendship, that's lame.
Also, be extra polite to her face so she can't complain. Then she has no reason to stop you guys.
If he starts ditching more and more though, you might gotta be straight with him. Tell him marriage doesn't mean dropping the homies completely. Hopefully he can lay down some boundaries with the ball & chain eventually! Don't give up on the bromance bro.
She sent me a text one time because his phone died so he used mine to call her. Anyways like 20 minutes after he left she sends me a text saying I can make sure you'll never get to see your friend again. I told my buddy word for word later that evening and he was like that's some bullshit right there. That was years ago and now that I think of it I wonder if that was meant for him?
All the red flags have been there since day one, he just doesn't listen to them.
Dude, what the actual f*ck? That text from her was waaay over the line, super possessive and controlling. And you're right, sending it to you instead of your friend directly is sketchy as hell too.
Honestly bro, I'd be real careful dealing with her from now on. That kind of aggressive behavior is a red flag the size of Texas. My advice - keep your distance as much as possible and document any nasty messages/threats, just in case. People that jealous can flip quick.
As for your friend, it sucks he isn't seeing it but ultimately that's his problem. You've warned him already, now all you can do is be there for him when shit hits the fan inevitably. Maybe distance will help him open his eyes, who knows.
All you can do is look out for #1 right now. But damn, I feel for you needing to walk on eggshells around his clingy ass wife like that. Hope it gets sorted, but watch your back homie.
because you are spending time with him. she wants him to spend more time with her.
