Is it even normal to be a jerk or mean girl in HS?

Is that normal HS behavior or is it really the parents' responsiblity to raise decent children from the start?

If that is normal and people can use the excuse that everyone is immature is HS, then how come some people are kind and nice even from an early age?

I believe that God punishes people who treat others poorly when they are vulnerable. I know somebody who was beautiful and used to bully me and her 20s she weighed around 300 pounds or more. I know somebody else who bullied me and something even worse happened to her. I won't go into detail cause I don't want people to think I'm a malicious person who celebrates when horrible things happen to my enemies.

Looks like it was karma alright. Seriously, I think more parents should do a better job. Some are raising entitled brats.

I don't think it's normal but unfortunately the mean girls seem to outweigh the good ones. I've always tried to be nice to everyone in school unless they want to treat me badly then I just ignore them. I'd rather stand up to the mean girls that are always bullying the girls/boys. I have only a couple of close friends and try to stay out of the drama, but if someone that is nice and is getting bullied by these mean girls I will and have stood up for them.

If it's normal and expected, how come not all kids act like that? I've spoken to nicer ones when I was much younger; they weren't into bullying others.

Really it's bad parents who think Thier kids are amazing and can do no wrong but also the toxic Hollywood highschool ideals.

Kids make bad choices and are still sociopaths who can empathize well.

Now there are good people in highschool but why be good when you can get away with so much and don't know when to stop bullying?

yet educations and manners are learned at home. If more parents did their jobs, there would be less school bullies
