How to deal with the mean girls in class?

Mean girls. Popular girls. The girls who are so "loving" in front of the teachers AND boys but the second they meet you alone they're like "I'm ten times better than you". So yea my question is- How do I deal with them?

These girls are trying to prove themselves, yet they generally feel insecure under their mask of strength. There will always be people throwing their garbage your way (in a vain attempt to boost themselves). It's your choice if you catch their garbage or not. Unfortunately, these bullies never seem to learn that their actions will never accomplish what they hope to accomplish. Truly confident people will never be in your face.

Girls are significantly crueler than boys. Don't believe the sugar and spice and everything nice. When boys fight, they just want to hurt the other person. When girls fight, they want to devastate the other person (tearing her clothes off and scarring her face).

Expand your life in other directions. Get involved with activities that are meaningful to you. When you feel good about what you're accomplishing, the words of these insecure bullies won't impact you. You'll see it as their problem, not yours.

Don't. Ignore them. They want the attention. So don't give it to them.

As for the crap they say, none of it means anything so ignore that too.

Yes, it's hard to ignore. But it's the right answer and easiest way: a fire with no fuel goes out.

Show them that their words can't touch you. Build self-confidence and learn to stand up for yourself. Those people feed on somebody's low self-esteem.

i was recently bullied, so i understand. i would say to ignore them.
