Like if all you do is work, take care of your responsibilities rather it’s kids, bills, doctors visits, work out etc but you do nothing for fun.

I don't know cause I mean let's say a "workaholic" loves his work. A lot of people might consider it unhealthy if he mostly just works all the time, but if he's enjoying his work and loves his work, what's the difference from someone going on vacations all the time?
Actually a lot of vacations cause me more stress than my work with all the airports and reservations and driving everywhere when we get there.
So I think too many people assume that things like doing work or working out or taking care of kids is no fun and that people who spend most of their time doing these things all need to go on more vacations and parties or whatnot.
The Amish have less than 1% depression rates in their population to my understanding and they're extreme workaholics whose ideas of fun include things like knitting quilts and canning foods.
So if you want to do more conventionally fun things, I think it's healthy to do them. But I don't think we should let other people tell us how to enjoy our lives especially when it's the ones who need the maximum number of vacations to be happy who are generally most discontent with their jobs, and therefore typically their overall lives. I figure if we're quite content with our everyday life, we need the minimum of vacations.
This is something to think about lol some people consider it fun to spend time at home reading, writing, looking at informative videos on YouTube, doing cross word puzzles etc to keep their wits about them. What’s fun for one may not just be for someone else. Whose to say vacationing is fun for everyone? Like you said, it stresses out. I have gone on vacation with the wrong crew and that took the fun out of for me. You get to be in the air, fly to another state or county and see the beautiful world outside of what you are use to but what good is it if who you went with ruins the experience?
Absolutely. 💯 Actually I'm wired a bit differently from most people. I think it's because I'm a hyper-thinker type (no longer an overthinker but still a hyper-thinker).
So what a lot of people find relaxing like getting a massage, listening to very unexciting music, fishing, sunbathing at a swimming pool or beach, actually tend to stress me out since it leaves my mind free to wander all over the place. I tend to find stress relief by directing my mind towards a singular goal; that often means doing things a lot of people would call "work" but for me it's stress relief.
It's unhealthy for your mind and your mental health affects your physical health
That makes sense because I look at it like it’s not necessarily working to not have fun but everything that isn’t wrong isn’t necessarily good either. So though it may not cause people to judge your character based off the fact you don’t have fun or cause people to consider you a horrible person to be around because it isn’t deep in that aspect, it still affects you personally.
*wrong not working I meant
Yes, you become burned out.
