I don’t think you can just leave to move in w your dad. He might get in trouble. Probably best to try to talk to your dad first. Then maybe your dad can talk to his lawyer to see if that’s an option. I’d think you were old enough to have a say in where you’d like to stay. Why don’t you want to live w your mom?

If you are 16 I'd say you are old enough to choose for yourself and it is not up to the parents. I'd guess that would be the case for just about all of the 50 states.

If your dad is ok with it and you want to move in with him then you can.

Courts almost ALWAYS just give women full custody just because they are women. I believe 50/50 joint custody should be the standard.

Gain evidence about your mum drinking and bringing random guys home. You could maybe even call the police and tell them you don’t feel safe with your mum because she is bringing random guys home.

It would be up to your Mom if she has full custody of you , since you are still considered a minor , when you turn 18 , you can do what you want

In the US, it probably depends on state laws. Elsewhere, I'm not sure. You should probably ask a lawyer that question.
