you don't really need to respond. i'm sure everyone is pretty shocked. i hope she'll end up okay and the baby is okay because that is extremely high risk.
you don't need to. It's your mom's life and decision, not yours.
your actions should depend on how you feel about it but you have no obligations towards your mom and her baby. If you feel positively about the whole situation then offer your support, if not then don't. She is an adult, she knows what to do
i would worry because pregnancy at age 54 is risky.
so hope for a miracle. start praying to god.
