Minor wants to be friends with me?

Couple weeks ago I was hanging out with a friend of mine from highschool, and his sister was there too. I'm 23, friend is 24, and his sister is 15 (I think). Since I met her, she's followed me on Instagram (no clue how she found me, no mutuals and I didn't tell her my last name), and after hanging out with my friend, his fiance, and her last night, she started messaging me on Instagram. She's alluded to (and so has her brother) that she wants to be friends with me... but like, I'm 8 years older than her. I know she doesn't really have any friends so it's probably why. I just am unsure what to do. I don't think (at least I hope not) she has a crush on me or anything, but I think its a tricky situation and I don't want to be labeled a creep. I am 100% not going to hang out with her one on one, nor did I follow her back on Instagram. I wouldn't mind being her "friend" but I'm just worried how it would look. Also I definitely don't make a habit of being friends with teenagers. I just want to stay off any SO registry and out of jail.

How should I go about this?

yeah she likes you. but i'd just ask your friend or tell your friend anything that makes you uncomfortable. and yeah you don't have to speak to her or hang out with her or follow her back if it makes you uncomfortable. no harm done on just leaving this one far away. you two don't have anything in common anyways. whenever you see her in person just be nice. but that's about as much interaction you should have
