I did with a belt during my early years (I think the last time was at age 7-8) by my father. I hated it and still hate the point of spanking children. I loved my mother more because at least she never spanked me.

Though I wouldn't mind getting spanked in the bedroom. There is a BIG major difference. That's between 2 consenting adults, I get to select with what object, how I want it and how many. A child on the other hand is defenseless against an adult. It's cowardly to strike a small little human that can't defend themselves with an object.
