Am I selfish for telling my adoptive parents they need to get a job to support themselves?

Im working and living paycheck to paycheck and I always support my adoptive parents they always ask me to buy them something like new mattress that costs ($80) for a third world country or when they want to eat out in restaurant. I bought groceries for them too and now I noticed I never buy anything for myself like new clothes or jeans or new underwear I can't afford it myself even braces I like to get braces because Im so conscious of my teeth I told them I'lll get braces next month and I will be using my salary to get new braces and they need to get a job now to support themselves and they called me selfish because Im being selfish with my salary

Why aren’t they working? That can’t be that old , I know certain cultures expect the kids to help them when retired but it seems like they adopted you to take care of them later which seems selfish of them especially when it’s only you and two of them, the father should be working at least

Its in Asia. People live with parents mostly thats why Im still unmarried and I can't afford to rent
