Personally it's annoying when women say that.
My mom had 7 kids and always took care of her appearance and worked! All my sisters did the same and so do I. in my opinion it's an excuse to be lazy.

It could be an excuse and it also can not be an excuse , Everybody has different genes and health factors that can impact their lives. When a female is birthing a child , it can screw up a lot of her insides making it harder for her to maintain weight. Her hormones can get all out of wack etc. so it doesn't necessarily mean she is lazy. I know people that work out constantly and still can’t lose weight to find out they have something wrong inside themselves after they go to the doctor. Sadly this society is so fixated on weight and sadly it’s all a money making bullshit scheme that most of us stupid people fall for to make their bank accounts bigger. Working out and exercising and eating clean honestly has nothing to do with your health , our bodies our designed for survival , I know people that worked out every single day and watched what they ate and they still dropped dead at a young age , So again, exercise has nothing to do with your health , all it does is it helps with your stamina and energy and helps you build muscle and burn fat , that’s all it does , it has nothing to do with your health , People have dropped dead for eating lettuce , people have dropped dead for drinking to much caffeine , people have died from drinking too much water , So sadly our society is brainwashed pecker heads that fall for these money making schemes. If people just accepted themselves for who they are and accepted everyone else around them? This world would be a much better place , but sadly it will never be that way., because we all can’t get along with each other.
Yeah I think it's just pure laziness..
I mean no matter what I'm doing if I don't take care of myself then I don't feel good and if I don't feel good I don't look good I like to be happy I like to smile I like to be healthy happy wise and if you just let yourself go you're none of those
Depends. My mom raised me all by herself as a single mom. She worked an overnight job at a hospital and left me with my grandparents at night, she slept when I was at school, and took care of me, helped me with homework, cooked me dinner and got everything ready for me for me for school the next day. Also in the late 80’s and early 90’s, gym memberships were expensive. My mom put on weight because of me, but she also didn’t have the time or the money to go to the gym.
However, I had three friends in high school who were all sisters. There mother was the laziest pig I’ve ever seen in my life. I used to go to their house a lot to hang out and the woman never worked, exercised or cleaned. She basically lived off of her parents and had her daughters (and me when I was there) clean the house for us while she sat on the couch watching soap operas and eating bon bons. My mom recommended a job that would have been perfect to support her and her girls. Her answer: “I don’t want to work!”
My mom wasn’t lazy
My high school friends’ mom was.
It depends really. Being a new mom is definitely a challenge and some women are too exhausted to take much care of themselves when taking care of a newborn. But my mom was the same, a tiny Asian lady who has had 4 kids total and bounced back every time. So it's definitely possible but it is hard.
It wasn't easy at all. My last pregnancy I didn't eat any junk food at all. Only fruits, vegetables. Chicken & fish. There were times I wanted to eat a tub of ice cream or a whole pack of cookies. But I know how hard it is to take the weight off.

Some do, some don't. A lot of the time they just don't care about being more attractive for their husbands because they're already sex pests, and clearly don't feel the need to stay in shape. As for being lazy in other ways, most people are lazy, so any excuse is going to be used. I use my kids as an excuse to do avoid to doing things sometimes too. Especially with traveling for work. I won't judge, as long as people are doing what needs to be done in their lives.
It's not a excuse cause some womens bodies just never bounce back especially if they've had a c section, multiple births, loose skin, get into a depression. There's many reasons why a woman's body doesn't look the same as before child birth and that's really not a big deal. Looking hot shouldn't be top priority anymore since top priority is the kids
I don't think anyone deliberately tries to let themselves go. Women to gain weight during pregnancy but the demands of 0child rearing, esp. multiple children, often means making sacrifices since Zoomba time gets replaced with diaper changing and getting them to sleep time. That being said, you are right in your opinion that women with children are probably in worse shape overall than women without or themselves prior to children
Everything is relative. I'd say if you make enough to provide her with a high quality diet, a personal trainer or at least a gym membership and childcare then you have more of a case when demanding. Other than that a guy has use a little common sense in this are. Is she keeping up with him? Is he assisting her? If not then he has a legitimate beef.
I think it can become an excuse after. Technically any reason for not being healthy is an excuse isn't it?
Totally an excuse my mom is still hott af after 3 kids. Gym, keagals, squats. Still likes sucking dick
Most often , yeah
That and using kids as weapons.
