Would you continue to be friends with someone who always responds late to your messages?

Yeah, if it's just normal texts. People have a life. Sometimes I reply a little late too. Not a lot, but it may be an hour or two. I'm not glued to my phone.

But if it's something important, like if I need them if I'm feeling down or something and they're not busy with anything but replying late then I'll just stop telling them anything important or trusting them. Friendship isn't only about being there in the good times. I'm there for my friends during difficult moments and I expect the same if someone cares for me.

If it’s really “always” over a period of months or years and not just a few times, I guess it depends if your friendship is good in other ways like if you see each other in person a lot and that part is good, if so maybe they just have that one blind spot. If your relationship with them is more about texting and they are v. slow to reply consistently for a long time, I would honestly say the friendship might not be that important to them. it depends on what that actually means... why and how do you consider something or someone, late...

people have their own lives too, and so am I... and I cannot always answer right away to everything and anything, and if I am "late" they will get the explanation and reason as to why it happened that way too

Sure, as long as they put effort into it when they finally respond.

I don't text important things, typically. And I basically don't notice or care if it takes you a long time to respond because I have a huge amount of other stuff going on.

Yeah I don't think there's any time limit on friendship people have lives and I don't know for me even on my phone I might not know that somebody called me or sent me a message for two or three days because I hate my phone LOL and you just leave the only way I find out is if I go to text them so I go to messages and then I see that they sent me something I mean I apologize. To them

But I mean to be honest if I'm dating somebody or something I would look everyday for messages probably that's probably why I don't look at my phone too often because I'm not dating anybody at moment

Cur them off. I just broke off a childhood friendship. My ex friend Karen decided to be a bridezilla and plan a child free wedding unacceptable. We paid a lot of. money into this stupid trip just to see an angry Karen selfish narcissistic couple get married. Not only that the bride yelled at my two year old called him a demon una unacceptable! The bride and her douchie husband are the demons here not my little boy.

Sure. Them texting back late is not a testament to their character at all. It just means that they’re likely not looking at or on their phone or they’re not in the mood for socializing. Either way is fine.

I have friends that do this and I just keep texting them until they reply but I only do that if I know it’s not annoying for them so my answer is yes but if they are close enough to understand why I keep texting them all the time.

Last time I was that drunk, I was at my friend's place and I tried to persuade my friend to either climb the mountain on foot at 3 am - (it would take many hours to even go there) or to go to a specific town on foot. I don't even remember why. Then I got bummed that she was of sound mind and ended up falling asleep (either on her floor or inside her bathtub I don't remember)

Admittedly I haven't been drunk many times I only do so around people I fully trust, also I have never gotten angry while drunk, I either get hyper full of energy or sad as fuck or I alternate
