Yes I already told this when I moved in we were 5 people and things were great then some people left but I couldn't leave at that time and also things had been great so far so I wasn't in a hurry but then the main guy because he had less pushback from the group he showed his true nature. he's a nice guy when hanging out with equals or superiors but if he thinks he has an edge on you like he is renting you your room he starts getting real nasty. Like he fucks with your mind. If he has something he wants he'll attack you over something else first to put you on the defensive so he can try and get more of what he wants on the other issue. Or he'll save things up to bring up when you're fighting back to undercut your arguments. There were so many different tactics that he used it took me a while to understand all of them. He was basically gaslighting people making them unsure of things they knew before, moving the window of what was fair in a deal or so in his direction, things like that. He was by far the richest person in the group he was making over 100 k a year and he had been making good money his entire career since he finished his apprenticeship pretty much but he'd do so many things to rip you off it's crazy. In the first apartment the contract was actually fair but then we had to move and I was ripped off. Thankfully I got out of there.
Also one time I was living with a group of guys for 6 weeks only it was temporary. And then I went on holiday for 3 weeks during those 6 weeks. When I came back I had my next place lined up which was the place with the crazy guy that I just talked about.
But I had to move out 1 day later or so it's always a bit tricky usually one of the two places you're moving in or out of has to be a bit flexible. So I asked them can I leave my stuff there for one more day because i can't move it into ma new place yet. And this one guy who must have secretly hated me the whole time or something just burst out in the group chat and wrote no get your fucking shit out of this house right now and stuff like that he was totally mad. I was so surprised because I asked them if I could leave my stuff there before and they said no problem. And then a different guy who was in the same group basically overruled him and said it was totally fine for me to leave my stuff there and I shouldn't worry about it. That was a really weird experience just because I didn't expect it at all, it came out of nowhere this guy was always quiet and kept to himself and then he suddenly come out like that it was not fun for me.
Only in the Marines, and helping my friend and his dad out when their lease wasn't renewed for maybe 2 months. Hell, I even bribed to get assigned my own room in the barracks, though it didn't last long.
I just do not enjoy having room mates. It can be fun, but more often than not they are the final boss standing between you and getting laid. Hell, I remember sleeping with a girl on the bottom bunk and the guy just wouldn't fucking leave from being on the top bunk. He watched, but it had been a couple weeks.
Even offering cash wouldn't get him out the room while he was just laying there. Whatever, live and learn.
Yeah, me and a couple other Marines beat him up for a while after that. I wasn't going to kill the momentum of getting laid. Men out number women horrendously in base towns. That's like finding gold in a cereal box.
The two gravest sins in the barracks are to cockblock, or be a blue falcon. Though cockblocking falls under blue falconery, it is a higher level offense. You play fun games like pulling out hundred mile an hour tape and two mattresses for gravity tests from the third floor.
I had a roommate that was 30 years older than me (same age as my parents) and she became a nightmare. Our 2 year old washer malfunctioned where it would stop mid cycle and she claimed I was stopping it on her and refused to believe me when I said I think it was malfunctioning. Later I found out there was something up with the control board. I looked up the make and model and found nothing but 1 star reviews which stated that the control board malfunctions regularly and some other things happen and the company refuses any warranty claims on them. I texted my landlord and told him what was going on. He then told me she was complaining about me and my other roommate to him for months but he didn’t want to do anything until he heard our side. Now that he did, I gave him the make and model of the washer, he did his own research and found everything I said was true so he went out and bought us a brand new washer with better reviews. But that didn’t stop my roommate from blaming me for “wasting our landlords money on new appliances”. About a month later she moved out without notice and never returned. That’s my latest bad roommate story. There’s more that happened but that’s a long story.
It was so bad that me and my other roommate didn’t want to come out of our rooms until she was gone. She was very snippy about other things too like when we move something out of the way.
-one bish said I was too loud when chatting with my husband. I have now learned she was right... but you can get ear plugs if you got a problem. (ps4 communication and discord, we didn't live together)
Okay, big one. This fat bastard of our house showed us that our host didn't immediately kick us out if we didn't leave on our leaving date. He stole my face wash, and ate our damned food. What did the host say? It's up to the law and that took 6-7 months. So for 6-7 months, he ate our food and acted like everything was fine. I knew he ate my food, so i boobytrapped them. And he didn't notice a damn thing. Only after about the beginning of the 8th month, he was evicted. No idea where he is, but I got the last laugh.
While at university I shared with some other guys, one of them was doing a degree in ‘make up’ aka film make up, special effects and prosthetic designs etc. We had a lot of props around the place and also he would bring models home to do their make up for photo shoots etc. One day we could have zombies, casualties of war, or 6ft blond models getting body paint. That was not the strange n weird thing, he was also a Furry and he helped with outfits for other furries. This meant on top of the chance of walking on zombies you had the added fun of walking in on him as a furry or him and other furries. It took a bit of explaining to some dates and friends that there may be a surprise when we got back.
Oh yeah! I don't have time to discuss it right now, but back in December 1988, just before I turned 26, my roommate (a nymphomaniac) and I had this torrid secret friends-with-benefits situation. "F W B" was not a thing then so we didn't call it that. I got emotionally involved, but she needed me to get laid until the next guy showed up. That was not good; lots and lots of drama over the next 6 months.
I've never had roommate. My son did in college though, three guys in a small dorm room. Then, partway through the first semester, one of the roommate's girlfriends moved in with them. Can you imagine 3 guys and 1 girl in one small dorm room? At least they had their own bathroom. My son said it was hard sleeping when his roommate was having sex in the middle of the night.
Well I had this roommate she’s one of the sweetest and loving person I ever met. Though her over protectiveness over me is kinda suffocating. At first everything is fine as months goes by as I started getting familiar with the city she never let me go out with people from work not unless I have her permission. I have curfews as well from her and she even call the company driver to check up on me (coz I don’t answer when she calls). I guess she’s just a motherly figure but it’s toooooo much. 😣
Had a roommate once many years ago whome was a friend of mine. She used to always make advances towards me, but I didn't see her in that manner. Long story short she would walk around the house nude, and every night would leave her bedroom door open so I could hear her playing with her vibrators.
I had a roommate who had pictures of herself totally nude around her room. They were only in her room but she would leave her door open and there were a lot of those kinds of pictures everywhere and anyone could see them if we were talking to her or just walking by. I admired that she was that cool with her bod, that's confidence.
Yes, I've had a lot of roommates. The only crazy story that really stands out is when one of them got arrested and I and one of the other guys we lived with had to get his car.
Yeah when I was younger and bought my house I rented to a few friends. Absolute filth. One guy I literally needed to have professional cleaner decon his room!

Hahaha My Ex and I still live together as biz partners and like family. He got injured this summer and we were stuck in the hotel room we temporarily reside in until our townhouse is ready. Suffocation.
