What if my friend’s mum dies?

She’s had lots of health problems since her operation and she’s elderly. Infections and nearly dying from a stroke. One of my friends in particular panics a lot about disasters. If her mum dies, she’ll get hysterical and also, she’ll be on her own in her mum’s house, with her brother. Who’s out a lot. How can I best support her if her mum dies soon?

The best thing to do is start supporting her right now and start preparing her right now and show her the positives versus the negatives of her actually passing sooner than later it would just prepare her a lot more

I just went through this with my mom and I knew it was going to happen and you know it's part of life it sucks it hurts but you have to take one step in front of the other you have to get through it. And you need to explain to her how she deals with it is going to either mess her up for the rest of her life or it's going to help her it's not so much that she passes how she gets through it that makes her become a better person and she has to understand that even though we don't like it but it is probably for the best that she did pass that sounds kind of cold to say but it's really not you know she has to make those memories right now good memories and you just need to talk to her about all the positives and how she's going to get through them because she's the only one that can get through them nobody else can do it for her and she needs to start preparing herself and start telling her mother that she loves her right now start being there for her more right now and just make it as comfortable as possible for her right now
