My best friend and I enjoy our time together. We go out places, we poke fun at each others and roast the shit outta each other (If best friends don't poke fun or roast each other , then they aren’t really friends.) but it’s all in fun, and we just have a ball, but after all that she wants to go home. Always. I mean if she has to work I understand but if you’re off then just chill out. Her job is on fall break and she’s STILL in a hurry to go home. I asked her if she wanted to stay for a couple days since she doesn’t have to work. She said she has her classes she needs to focus on her studies. I said, “Okay but you can still do your work here. We have a room where you can study. Just stay. You don’t have to work this week and plus you’re always so cooped up at home, so it’s good to be away from home sometimes. It’s up to you though.”
She said, “I have midterms to study for and have so much homework. Even my roommate said I’m always in a hurry to go home and it’s good for me to get away and I’ve been cooped up since my mom died.”
I said, “I understand, but your roommate has a point. It isn’t good to sulk all the time. Your mom wouldn’t want that. Just stay.”
She snapped, “I AM GOING HOME!!!”
I snapped back, “Okay okay! You don’t have to speak to me that way or you won’t come over anymore! I respect your choice!”
