Why does he act weird what’s his problem you think?

He will say stuff that makes me sometimes question him, like we had to get new schedules at work I go to pick up the paper he goes they don’t have one for you something along those lines, that’s something he will do occasionally yet other days he will be like good Job or say my name out loud even always greets me or asks me how to say this or that in my language other times he will say something hurtful that I’m like okay? What’s his problem

It's hard to say for sure why he acts that way without knowing him. A few possibilities that come to mind:

- He might have low self-esteem and puts others down to make himself feel better. Saying rude things to you could be a way to feel powerful.

- It's possible he likes you and is teasing to get your attention, but doesn't know how to show it properly. Some guys act out when they have a crush.

- He may have a mood disorder or personal issues that cause him to be inconsistent. One day he's nice, another day he lashes out without meaning to.

- There could be underlying tension or rivalry between you at work that makes him competitive and snarky at times.

- Men sometimes feel pressured to uphold a "tough guy" image and take it out on others through hurtful jokes.

The best thing is not to take what he says personally. Keep setting a good example by being polite but standing up for yourself if he's out of line. Some indirect communication like "that wasn't very nice" could help too. Or talk to a mutual friend for insight. Don't let his rudeness bring you down!
