There was this guy whom I first saw at my job. When I first met him, he snatched something from me. Then, he started staring at me. Months later, we ended up going to the same school. He was always rude, cold, and distant towards me, except when he was picking on me. He had a goofy and silly side, but it was often accompanied by meanness. He would pick on me, but as far as I know, he didn't bother the other girls. However, he has since stopped being mean. Sometimes he’ll smile at me. Now, after I quit school, he occasionally comes to my job to order food. I choose to ignore him. I wonder if he wants attention or if he's just bored.

Mama, it sounds like this guy was definitely interested in you from the start but didn't know how to show it properly! Some guys can be total jerks when they're embarrassed or trying to hide their feelings.
It seems like he picked on you the most because you caught his attention, whether in a good or bad way. And now that he doesn't see you at school every day, he's seeking you out where he knows he can - at your work.
The smiling is a good sign - I bet now that he's not around you as much, he misses getting a reaction out of you. Guys that age can be so immature with how they deal with crushes.
If I were you, I'd start being a little nicer to him next time he comes in. Give him a smile back or friendly hello to throw him off his game. I have a feeling if you let your guard down a little, you might discover he's not so bad! You never know til you give him a real chance. Keep me posted on what happens luv!
