Why does he keep copying me?

There is a manager at work who is acting very strange with me. He is higher than me in rank, but yet he seems to be competitive with me. Since meeting me, I've noticed that he has taken on my mannerisms and personality. He talks like me now, uses words that I use and delivers them in the way that I do. He even writes like I do now. It's like looking at a male version of myself.

However, he will barely even make eye contact with me and he refuses to say "thank you" to me when I've done good work for him. It's like he's acting like I don't exist... yet he's copying me at every turn.

What is his problem?

Humans are far more impressionable than most would like to admit. Also egotistical where we would rather receive credit than give credit. lol

He's a grown man though. Old enough to be my father, and makes far more money than me I'm sure. So it's hard for me to understand how he could be so immature.

Hard to understand how a grown man can be interested in dating a child, yet I know it does happen. However, age doesn't always equate to maturity and wisdom. We see evidence of this in every day life.
