Please help!!!why is this guy acting weird and cold/distant all of a sudden?

I know this guy for 4 years but we started dating 5 months ago. He goes to my school. He's a virgo man. I am use to hearing about how virgo males get distant and cold when they start having feelings for a girl. Is this true? I'm asking because everything was going so well... I met his family, I slept over his house at times, we would cuddle all day, laugh and act dumb together, text each other almost everyday. We would walk in public holding hands, he was helpful, sweet, caring and I was super comfortable with him. He never told me he loved me.. He never tells me how he feels. That's why we had a little argument weeks ago and he stopped talking to me but then he came back. Since he came back, I thought everything was back to normal again and i even slept over his house days later. Before I left back home, he seemed happy.. He even told me "call me, text me, anything when you get there." I ended up texting him & he was so dry, he only responded with one word answers. Then in school, he stopped sitting with me, and even stopped talking to me. I tried approaching him once and he was so cold and rude. He would stare at me from a far but wouldn't go up to me. He acts so nice to everybody else, and acts so distant, cold and like he doesn't know me. WHATS HIS PROBLEM? Please help. What should I do? Since he's acting so distant and cold, is it possible he is starting to fall for me? How can I get him to talk to me again? How do I make things official with this virgo man?

For starters, his horoscope sign has nothing to do with this situation and is completely and entirely irrelevant to his behavior.

Next, if you want to know why he has become so cold, ask him. If he won't talk to you, then its something you will have to resolve within yourself. Lastly, why would you think suddenly he has strong feelings for you and he is being cold as ice and hurting your feelings? That doesn't make any sense. If I were you, I would just ignore him like he doesn't exist and leave it at that.
