Is it just me, but isn’t it weird that babies are 50% their dads but when guys want their children, everyone tells them no, the baby is 100% the moms?

Like the babies is biologically the man’s but as a society we just see the babies as just a woman’s. Even subconsciously. It’s really weird.

Usually because the woman is the one who grew it for 9 months, gave birth, and is the main caretaker of the baby while the dad is either at work or not in the picture. The baby bonds more to the mother for many reasons. So when it comes to custody of a child, the woman usually gets custody as it’s in the child’s best interest, unless the woman is abusive or something else is wrong.

Agreed. We should start making the women go to work after having the kid so the men can be more involved 😈

If they weren’t recovering from a major medical event, yeah. It takes up to 2 years to fully recover from childbirth.

Mostly one sided people especially women who are narcissists. I feel horrible for their children I mean you can blame the man for picking a woman like that but the poor kids didn’t choose their parents.

It takes two people to create a baby it’s weird to me too but you’re not wired like that. Some people do have a point that sure the woman carried the baby, gave birth, and maybe is the caretaker though in most relationships it’s pretty much equal.

People tell people what they want to hear as well because it flatters them and they will not get angry. But you’re right it does take two. It’s like people who get angry over someone they had kids with. When they also chose to have sex with that person. Either a woman’s mad and upset she slept with someone or a man’s angry he has to pay child support.

It's not just you. Dad's are second class when it comes to parenting. Third class, actually, because it seems the government takes precedent over fathers when it comes to parental decisions and rights.
