Because of gender roles I don't think being 50/50 in a financial way can ever be fair for a straight couple.
why?
Because a woman will always end up doing more
what makes u think that?
Men often think just working is enough so all the other tasks fall on the woman. If she's working and doing every other task then she's doing more than him
You're going to have to be more specific than "wanting 50/50". That could literally be a million different things.
