I prefer to make my own pizza. And for about 3 decades, I used to be able to. I used to work for a pizza place (a few, actually) and even long after I quit, I was allowed to go in and make my own pizzas and bake them myself as long as it wasn't busy (mostly lunch hours). Even after the owner sold the chain, I made friends with the new owners and kept doing this. Sadly, the last store was sold and is no longer a pizza store, so now I have to deal with other people's crappy pizza.

A couple times a year, I will recreate the pizza at home, but I have to make everything from scratch, and it's a LOT of work to make one or two pizzas, and I don't eat pizza often enough to make the ingredients in higher volume. And I can't get the better ingredients that you can get from a food supply company, especially the spicy pepperoni that I like.

Well, vacuum lines in the carpet aren't a problem for me anymore... I got rid of the carpet! And I just paid a ridiculous amount for the perfect pan for making omelettes, so now other people can do that at my house, too. I AM a coffee snob, but I'm not going to hurt anyone's feelings over it if they are kind enough to make me a cup of coffee... I'll even choke down instant if I HAVE to. So, I would say it's the care and feeding of my bathing suit wardrobe. Since I'm a bodysurfer, I have a ridiculous number of suits. And a nice bikini does not come cheap these days so I really don't want them ruined. Yep I'm OCD about my bikinis... Hand wash and line dry ONLY... by me. Ofc, even THAT'S not a problem atm bc there's just no Pacific Ocean in Michigan. So I guess I just have no problems at all to speak of. Ladedah!

I only trust myself to clean. My boyfriend will vacuum and dust for me but I'll end up doing it again right after he gets done. I feel terrible doing it but I do explain to him that it's relaxing for me and I don't expect him to do it lol I actually enjoy it. Same as doing dishes, among other things. It's funny how you mentioned omelets, I only trust others to make mine. I love omelettes but I've never made one that tastes as good as the ones I get from Mom and pop dinner's! Same as Philly cheesestakes. Not that mine aren't good, it's just it always seems, to me anyway, that everything tastes better when someone else cooks it.

I will never order a pasta dish out (almost never unless in Italy). It's always overcooked overpriced and over portioned. That and when Italian American restaurants say they have x on the menu, it's almost always not made properly. Ex carbonara, cacio e pepe or Bolognese.

It infuriates me lol. I'm American with Italian heritage and I don't blame Italians for calling us out for butchering their classic dishes. They taught us how to make it, they share their techniques, and we add cream and peas, and American bacon to things that don't belong!!!

If I want to make an Italian pasta dish I make the pasta if I feel like or use a good dried pasta and make everything as if I had the Italian army coming to my house for dinner lol

Also I don't trust other people's coffee they make in their home. Too many people use Keurig today. I'd rather not have any coffee in that situation.

Uhhhhh I would not order pastas for reasons mentioned by another user, it would not come to my mind to order an omelette either. Coffee, in any bar, tastes like vinegar to me, but that's because I like super light coffee, I still order coffee though because I sometimes fail to find what I want to drink once seated at the table...

I’m autistic, I struggle heavily with changing my diet. If you’ve ever heard of arfid, it’s a very similar feeling to that where I have to be the one to do it myself. It applies to most foods that I make, I need that level of control in order to feel comfortable trying this new food. If someone else makes it or tries to force me or even encourage me to try it, there’s a very real resistance psychologically that keeps me from even allowing it to touch my tongue let alone eat it.
