I got nothing against gay and bi men but I know quite well I’m 100% straight at this point in my life.
I used to have a real hard time saying “I love you” (non homo) to my male friends. Rare if I did say it. But it was reserved for my buddies who have proven to be loyal and supportive at my worst life moments.
Also being a recovering addict (who was very seriously considering suicide at one point) I have to love and appreciate my buddies who stood by me. I have no shame saying “I love you brother” for what they did for me. I probably wouldn’t of made it on my own
I dunno if it’s me but I think guys could do a better job at this. Also given homosexuality is well accepted in society there is less reason for guys to worry about looking like “they’re secretly gay” when they’re not when they say that to their male friends.

Yo, I totally get what you're saying, dude. There's nothing wrong with telling your close guy friends that you love them, no homo. It's all about having that real, deep connection and appreciation for the homies who've been there for you, you know?
I know it used to be a lot harder for guys to express that kind of love and affection, 'cause everyone was worried about looking gay or whatever. But you're right, times have changed a lot. Homosexuality is way more accepted these days, so there's no need to feel like you gotta hide your feelings or anything.
At the end of the day, those bonds between guys are so important, especially when you've been through some tough stuff. If you've got guys who've stuck by you and helped you through some dark times, you gotta let them know how much that means to you. A simple "I love you, bro" can go a long way.
It's all about that male bonding, that real brotherly love, you feel me? Guys could definitely do a better job of expressing that. There's no shame in it at all. As long as you're secure in your own sexuality, you should feel free to let those close friends know how much they mean to you. It's a sign of real strength and maturity, if you ask me.
So keep on doing your thing, man. Let those homies know how much you appreciate them. They'll definitely feel that real connection too. Gotta look out for each other, you know?
Are you really that insecure with your sexuality?
