I always hit and yell at my child. I feel like shit. But his ADHD and ODD is so bad, he has autism too and a mood disorder. He's unmanageable and out of control. I need help. I love him and don't wanna hurt him. 😢

You need to go to family therapy and to talk to someone for help and advice on his disabilities. Maybe Mom support groups on Facebook too. Hitting him is making matters worse and that isn’t love. Also find resources that deal with autism and the other disorders to better help him. Your child depends on you for care and support, no matter how hard it is for you. I don’t know how severe his disabilities are, but if he can function on his own with proper therapy and help you can guide him to a successful, independent future.

Depends cause often these people won't react unless your screaming at them. They don't get subtle or nice! Means I get to act out!

My cousin is like this and her mom needs a break! She takes vacations but sadly with 3 others kids who take care of themselves and the special. She needs help but the state won't help.

You need a break and someone else to handle them. You do amazing trying to put up with him.

Most just dump them at the hospital and they go to homes after 4 months of us handling them being wild taking our time from patients.

You feel like a bad mom because you're being a bad mom. I understand you're incredibly stressed but hitting your child is disgusting behavior and the fact you're doing it because of his mental illness makes it even crueler and is going to do lifelong damage to his mental health. If you love him then either stop hitting him and deal with like a real mother or find him a new home with your parents or his uncles or aunts or something. Frankly If I knew where you lived, I'd call CPS on you right now
