How do mothers generally pass the torch to their daughters in life?

It's just fascinating to me to see how that torch gets passed from one generation of women to the next. I wonder what the key things are that moms feel are important to teach their daughters - whether it's practical life skills, relationship advice, cultural/family traditions, or just general wisdom about navigating the world as a woman.

I'm really interested to hear how other people have observed that mother-daughter dynamic and knowledge transfer happening.

By being her role model day one!
giving birth to children is a nice long responsibility.

i become the adult I need to be to raise my daughter to be greater than myself… she sees me as her role model. By taking care of thyself and others. My caring for others, being g considerate of others…

Stand up for herself. Set goals … accomplish and contribute. That goal includes carry on our family legacy!!!

I guess it depends on the mother.. I don't usually see them pass much down to their daughters though.. LOL..

My mom always just taught me to be myself. That seemed to work out good enough lol
