Being 26 and being a virgin and no friends, where do I start?

School is out of the picture and the job market is so bad right now and online I’ve had really awful experiences

Once you start ruling out things like school and jobs you are really limiting yourself. Take a basic community college class like math or humanities. It will only cost a couple of hundred dollars and there will be at least 150 people there.

Join volunteer or nonprofit organizations that have lots of people (also a good place to meet job leads), join groups that have your same interests like hiking or watching movies or swimming (show off your body) or business networking, they even have them for board games like Monopoly or Trivial Pursuit.

Get yourself around a lot of people who are working toward a common purpose who you can see on a regular basis. That's what school or a job is, and that's what these groups you join can do also.

If you do any one of these, in 6 months you'll have at least 3 good friends and will have met a good number of guys. In a year your whole life can be different.

Focus on yourself. Yes the job market is shite. But all you can do is push on with it.

@gemb00 People who think condoms and birth control pills actually work, are the same people who have (or will have) accidental/unplanned kids.

Those things fail so often, that when combined with the fact that you can only get pregnant every 9 months, they become zero percent effective.

Here is the math:

With contraception: 99% effective x sex once per day x 365 days per year = at least 3 failures per year + 9 month pregnancy duration = 1 - 2 pregnancies per year.

Without contraception: sex once per day x 365 days per year + 9 month pregnancy duration = 1 - 2 pregnancies per year

Also the specific chemicals in condoms are toxic to humans, and bc bills disrupt proper hormone function and increase risk of death, so even if you made ones that didn't fail, its still not worth it.

Then on top of that you have the infection risk, which neither condoms nor bc pills protect against (infections spread across and under the condom in seconds, and it only covers the penis, and bc pills cover nothing).

So its best to only have sex with someone you would trust with your life and have known for years and are in a permanent commited relationship with.
