Why are manipulators usually extremely stupid?

I’ve noticed it’s usually really obvious when someone’s manipulating and they’re usually very stupid.

Manipulator are only able to manipulate weak stupid or depressive people when they try to do it to someone who's actually smart or confident in themselves then you can smell their manipulative tendencies from miles away.

And manipulator are usually not stupid I would guess the dude you meet was surely pretty young or just not a good one and he wasn't able to make a difference between seomeone weak willed and someone strong. I also met a dude who tried to manipulate me but in not even 1 week I was able to stop it. Manipulator can only manipulate those that let themselves get manipulated for the others they're unable to manipulate them.

Stupid is a qualification of the manipulator's job. As a male, this usually means women who get romantically involved with me and then play games with my emotions to take my money. If they weren't stupid, they would find a better way of making money.

It's extremely short term thinking.

You'd kind of have to be a stupid person to genuinely believe that you can manipulate someone and get a sustainable, favorable result. The fact they're trying at all is telling.

Manipulation is based on telling someone a lie or a misrepresentation. Truth has a habit of getting out eventually. So the whole plan inevitably backfires when the person you manipulated puts things together and realizes that you abused their trust for short term gain.
