I feel like I have more obligation to keep up with family members but my brother never seems to get any hassle if he doesn’t speak to them but why?

Probably cause they never show effort back. I have a big family and if not for the group chat I'd never hear from them aside from when babies are born or weddings for someone I met twice.

It's good you have the passion for this but he does not!

They live abroad I used to travel to see them but I was always just on the plane myself and just got bored travelling only own because the rest of my family never wanted to go
