Why so much hypocrisy in mom being overprotective vs dad being overprotective?

It seems to be ok when dad's are overprotective of their adult daughter when she has sex with a much older man, but it's wrong for a mom to be overprotective of her son when he has sex with a much older woman and she gets so much judgement.

I never understood this hypocrisy from people.

Men are naturally more protective of women.. It's the same reason why they'll interrogate their boyfriends instead of their sons girlfriends.. You could say that they care less for their sons wellbeing than their daughters honestly.. But that's not true.. I doubt they really care about what some woman is doing with her son though.. And I doubt a lot of mothers are seriously protecting their sons from who they date..

Me neither I see that my mother often is overprotective when I'm with her and way younger girls look at me but I would get with who I want anyway. I also seen this behaviour at work older wiser women were flirting with this young man's mom the mom said he has a girlfriend and his busy
