Do you think my aunts friend is lying about her husband hitting her?

So my aunt says that her friend has always loved drama. Last night she texts my aunt saying that her husband punched her in the face 3 times. She says she has two black eyes and a fat lip, but she won't send photos to my aunt. She said that she called the cops, and they arrested her husband. Well, this morning she said that someone paid his bail and he's back in her house. She said that he block her car in with his car, and she couldn't leave for work. I guess he chased her down and got his keys. This just doesn't sound right to me. She won't send my aunt photos of her injuries, and why in the hell would they even consider letting a guy out who just beat his wife up, and let him go back and live in her house. Something just doesn't seem right to me, and I asked my aunt if she might be making it up. She was just like "I don't know". My aunt just sent her money too. Her friend didn't ask for the money, but my aunt still sent it. What do you think?

True but if she not telling the truth that's not good it could start a lot of problems
