If you are woken up from your sleep a couple hours after drinking heavily- and are asked a question, is the answer likely the truth or is the person likely confused and out of it?
for reference: my girlfriend fucked up a couple weekends ago In regards to her ex and I chose to beleive her that nothing happened and they only talked about bs for the 12 or so minutes she was there.
last night she tells me that she can’t be responsible for others feelings and I asked if she liked him or if he liked her, bc to me that’s what that statement sounds like.
i woke her up a couple of hours after she went to bed (wasted) and asked her how long she was talking to him for and she said “not long” and I asked what “not long” meant she said “idk like 2 months”
she started to tell me she was drunk and confused and all that when I asked her that- she’s full of shit right?
what she said was the actual truth most likely?

Actual truth most likely. Sorry man.
Man if your trust for her is that far down the drain then do you both a favor and break up. I’m not saying she’s right, not even saying if she is or isn’t telling the truth Bc I don't know her personally, but being woken up out of my sleep and interrogated would piss me tf off. I’d actually really consider leaving you because who wants to be treated like a guilty criminal when they’re not? That shits exhausting.
Did you miss the part where she went to his house last Friday after starting a fight with me? I really don’t care how exhausted she is
Yes I missed that part because it’s not there. All you said was that she fucked up with her ex a couple weekends ago, and had a 12 min conversation, and she can’t responsible for other people’s feelings, which is true. If anything that says to me that he may still be into her, but that’s not her fault and you shouldn’t ride her ass because of his feelings. It’s not healthy or fair.
Also I’m not taking about her being tired (which does matter a lot), I’m talking about the action in itself. Waking her up in the middle of the night as some tactic to throw her off or expose a lie that doesn’t exist. I definitely lean more towards believing her truth, because I dated a guy just as insecure as you and left him because I don’t have time for that shit and neither does she. No one wants to be treated like they did something wrong by some narcissistic, manipulative dude who’s been hurt in the past and now the new girlfriend has to deal with his trauma. It’s not right.
I mean I don’t think it’s to much to ask to not go to your exs house drunk while you’re dating somebody else
If you’re gonna keep adding bits and pieces to your story then consider already including it in your first post, because that is also not what you wrote that you said, and squeezing in bits and pieces to try and make you the victim and support your own narrative isn’t a good look.
“last night she tells me that she can’t be responsible for others feelings and I asked if she liked him or if he liked her, bc to me that’s what that statement sounds like.”
“i woke her up a couple of hours after she went to bed (wasted) and asked her how long she was talking to him for and she said “not long” and I asked what “not long” meant she said “idk like 2 months””
These are your explanations that I’ve based my opinion on. No, it is not wrong to ask your girlfriend not to talk to her ex, and when you asked this, I don’t know. But to me, you find little tricking ways to squeeze a truth out of her that doesn’t exist.
