What do some people still whine about the fact that their mom is dead?

I know a woman who constantly retweets endless posts about grief and loss. What do people actually get out of doing that? She's gone—she's not coming back. It's time to move on.

it is a coping mechanism. some people do this to help them move on. if that's not what you do, great, but this is how this person is dealing with it.

if this doesn't concern you, move on. you can mute her retweets/posts if you don't want to see them. but she has every right to post whatever she wants on her social media.

my best friend (was like a sister) passed away in December, which i occasionally post about on facebook. like it'll sneak up on you and hit you like a truck. can't imagine it with someone like your mom if you're close with them
