Growing your network does not depend on your looks. There are several ways to grow your network, starting with a professional network such as co-workers, clients and suppliers. They are all excellent references that you can add to your network. Those are rather directed to your job, your qualifications and your reputation rather than your looks.

You can be the ugliest looking person but if you have such qualifications that make you a desired person within a network, then you can rest assured that all those that are interested in being connected with you will disregard this unimportant feature.

Life does not solely revolve around looks but more around qualification, intelligence and the ability to communicate and sell yourself.
