No. Not at all! In fact, I would judge someone who was ashamed of being the parent to a homosexual person. To be honest, the whole idea is low-grade offensive.

Everyone should love the hell outta their kids: Whether they turn out to be gay; or criminals; or musicians or whatever else.

not "ashamed". bitterly disappointed. cause obviously you're having children to keep your family alive. homosexual child means they're not gonna continue the family. that's sad from the perspective of a parent. so all you can really do is have another child and hope for the best.
