How important is an apology to you?

When you do something wrong, do you always apologize to the other person? If so, do you apologize for yourself or for them?

When someone does something wrong to you, do you expect an apology? What makes an apology necessary?

If I’ve done something wrong and an apology can rectify the situation, I do it. If I did something and didn’t realize I hurt someone in the process, I apologize. I do this because if it was the opposite situation, having an acknowledgement of the other party’s responsibility and how they messed up would help me to hold less of a grudge against them

Yes, I apologize if I realize I’ve done something wrong. It’s usually unintentional.

It depends who it is and what they are apologizing for I think a lot of people say sorry just to say it which iam guilty of that to but something that really matters to me I want a sincere apology and then actions to confirm the apology
