Trending & News Yeah, to a certain extent, but they aren't the only source of influence in our life. Our personal experiences, school environment, teachers, friends, as well as the media we're exposed to, the books we read during childhood also play a role (eg. I've heard people saying that gen Z have lower cognitive empathy than the previous ones, cause they grew up on social media
*in childhood
Interesting you mention books
Because in childhood I think the books we see are the books of it parents. I mean children don't go and buy books
So the books that are in our environment, yes, are very crucial to our influence
That's so true.
Also, the books you find in your school's library (if it has one). Mine had a lending system where you could borrow a book for a few days only and then you had to return it, so I read lots of books that way
Yes
Me too
Books were very important on our house. Maybe too important🙂
Real life should be more important
yeah, like there's obvious stuff that ik NOT to do, but some stuff you dont realize isn't normal until you're told
Most of them yes. Some from friends and relatives and some from teachers at school
Sometimes in the inverse. Sometimes parents can be a bad example.
That's what I mean
If parents have low standards
Do children also have low standards?
