Guy hugs? For or against?

My mother's family is very huggy. Right arm high and look to the left. Let the hug fall into place is as natural as breathing.

I'm discovering my father's family is not game for hugs. Is this common?

Depends on local cultures and the individual family’s closeness. I’m not a big hugger myself, but with family and very good friends, why not.

Hugs from guys? Yeah, that is common among family. At least it is in mine. Cousins, uncles, etc.
