Why does my American family give me more criticism than support?

They always bluntly roll their eyes, make fun that I don’t have a driving license and always seem to have an attitude despite not really knowing them that well or talk to them that much

I don’t critique that these people are extremely obese, literally drive about 10ft to the pizza store to pick up a pizza and many more annoying things. The worst people to be around

Why do you have to say American? It's your family wherever you are. How do you know what they'd be like in another country?
