How do I tell young relative her shorts are too short?

I am renting a room from my uncle and aunt. That's working out, but one thing bugs me. Their daughter, who's 15, walks around the house in nylon athletic shorts that are way too short, with her cheeks visible, and too tight as well. She'll bend over right next to me, or dance in the living room to something on the Alexa.

I feel I ought to tell her she needs to dress more modestly. On the other hand, I don't want it to seem like I'm looking at my much your second cousin that way. How should I handle it?

It isn't your responsibility to say anything. If her parents minded, then it's up to them to say something. When you have kids, then you can raise them how you want. Stay out of it.

Also, stop looking at her like a sexual object. She's underage and that is kind of creepy.

He never said he was looking at her like a sexual object. He seems genuinely concerned for his younger cousin nothing wrong with that. If a guy thinks that a girl is dressing inappropriately which it sounds like she is, why do women think he's looking at sexually? He absolutely is looking at her sexually in this post. He is worried about how she looks and how she is over sexualizing herself and not being modest which equates to him seeing her as a sexual object to begin with. Im tired of men trying to police what women do with their own bodies.

She's not a woman she's a child his cousin that he is concerned about! He is not looking at her as a sexual object, he's concerned about men looking at her as a sexual object! If it were a boy you wouldn't think twice about it! That is a double standard!! Women sexualize boys all the time and no one says anything about it!! I was at the beach a couple of years ago and there were 3 girls and a little boy they kept chasing him pulling down his swim trunks he was crying. I went to his mother she said it was cute!! If that were 2 boys doing that to a little girl they would have been told they were raping her. What's the difference? My boyfriend was sexualized in high school by girls when he complained about it too the principal he was told he probably liked it. When he fought back he was the one that got in trouble!! You're right women can wear anything they want that's their choice, but underage girls need to be protected same for boys!
