I've been with my family for 15 years and im already so tired of them
So it sounds like you need space that you aren't getting. Or maybe deep down you're an introvert or an ambivert like me. We ambiverts enjoy social time, fun and games, etc. but we also still like our own personal time and need to decompress and recharge with no one else around.
When I was growing up we were all a little too close, and were barely allowed to ever be by ourselves. To the point that even now as a grown man I still find it somewhat weird to hear about partners in a relationship or kids in a family talking about needing space. It feels alien to me and I think "You need space from the people you love/who love you?" But I had to learn that even your own blood/spouse needs alone time.
Being with one person for life is God's plan, and it takes work. It definitely will not always be easy and you will probably have moments where you just want to be by yourself or get annoyed by things your partner does. It's the same as growing up in a family with brothers and sisters.

5 moMy friend, love is a choice. Feelings are changeable. You may have had the experience that your significant other, someone you really care for, feels one way about you one day, and feels the other way on another day! But real love is a choice. It is a choice which says, "I choose you today. And I will continue to choose you in the future, even when neither of us is so attractive anymore." This is a real sign of maturity, the ability to commit, to be trustworthy, to be reliable, so that the other person knows that they can count on you to be there for them in good times and bad times! If you are not ready for that, you are certainly not very mature. Or maybe you just haven't met the right person yet.

So if i dont want to choose one person every single day for the rest of my life im immature, not trustworthy or reliable?
There won't be a right person - 5 mo
That is a decision you make, whether there is a right person or not. But if you say those three little words to someone, and then at some later point you change your mind and you want out, then what is your word worth? How can anyone ever trust you? How can anyone ever believe or rely on anything yoy say? Are you a person of your word or not?
Many years ago, a girl who had said she loved me, broke up with me saying, "The first time I told you I loved you, I thought I meant it!" "THOUGHT she meant it?" THAT'S real solid. This sounds like a preadolescent ditz, which she was not! Should I not have had the right to assume that I could rely on what she said when making my own decisions? My point is, you have to be fair to the other person.
543 opinions shared on Family & Friends topic. There are many creatures roaming the earth who mate with one partner for life. The distinction between those creatures and people is that people have "free will" -- the ability to choose beyond our hormonal instincts. So while we may exhibit some similarities with other creatures -- preening, peacocking, etc. -- many individuals mess things up by actively choosing the wrong person.
So the question isn't REALLY whether we can be with the same person for life -- we can... The question is whether we can CHOOSE PROPERLY and stop sabotaging our own chances at true and lasting love.00 Reply

The other day she didn’t want a relationship because she’s “seen men leave their wives for younger women enough times to make her never want a relationship”, now she doesn’t wanna be with one person the rest of her life. Just silly.

5 moStop blaming everyone for your pathetic life. YOU'RE the problem, not them 🙄 It's obvious you try to justify your loneliness and fear of being alone for the rest of your miserable life by pretending that's how you want it. I've only dealt with you a handful of times on here and can't stand you! It's clear people choose to leave you, not the other way around 😂😂😂 Get help or stop with the trolling!
11 Reply- 5 mo
How am i blaming anyone but me?💀 Yeah thats exactly what im saying? tf? Well yeah? not everybody wants exactly what you want in life. Then block me? Nobody has ever left me tho? What is ur problem?
Exactly that, you're already tired of your family, now the person you don't get tired of? That's the person you wanna spend the rest of your life with, cause they simply don't make you tired of them, and you simply feel more time isn't enough with them.
That's also the difference between having to be with people and wanting to be with people, loving someone, or being in love with someone.12 Reply- 5 mo
I get tired of everyone after like 2 hours, even my friends who i also choose and love.
5 moYou will feel different about your chosen family, then you do about your birth family. Thats how. Its about growing together rather then growing apart. Your suppose to grow into a person able to be independent from your birth family. Once you do you will want that idea of family back and well find a choosen family. Then you will understand 😉
09 Reply- 5 mo
i dont choose my kids tho. and i dont want any of them. i doubt im compatible with anyone
- 5 mo
As long as you look for problems that's all you will ever find. Life is more enjoyable when you see it as an opportunity instead of a problem. Thats one of those secerts no one tells you. You'll see... 😉
- 5 mo
wdym by that? no tell me, i dont wanna wait 50 years and wait for something that won't happen
- 5 mo
🤦♂️ thats good you dont want to wait 50 years for something that won't happen! The trick is you have to see life as an opportunity, not a problem. Everything depends on how you think about it.
- 5 mo
and what is that supposted to mean? if u say A u gotta say B too.
- 5 mo
When you think you will never be happy and dont deserve it. You never find happiness... Basically the only way to really lose in a race is to not race at all. Life isn't about coming in first place its about having fun during the race.
- 5 mo
I dont remember thinking that?
- 5 mo
Count how many times you have said "i dont" "won't" and "I doubt"... life is what we make it.
- 5 mo
still doesn't make sense
then you and your family are not compatible people with each other.
believe it or not but some people just fits in together well enough for it to happen.
i'm together with my closest friends since 15 years and no sign of being tired of each other.
i'm together with my family since 23 years and aside from the loud noise we tend to make no sign of being tired.
02 Reply- 5 mo
i think im just not compatible with anyone, i can't stand anyone for over like 2 hours
Whene'er you get older you'll find out more about love. You don't choose your family, but you choose your partner. Hopefully you'll find someone that gives you the feeling you want to be with forever. It takes time though and don't think it too quickly.
You'll still get tired of your partner sometimes, but it's worth it with the right person.
01 Reply- 5 mo
Sure but nobodys perfect. and i js get annoyed at people after a while after being with them for a long time. same thing with friends, who i also chose.
5 moLOL your description made me laugh. The biggest difference between a Partner and family is that you can actually choose your Partner while you were born into your family without a choice. Being in a committed relationship with the right person is actually great.

339 opinions shared on Family & Friends topic. Why would you invest in another person? Put time, effort and money into them? They may break up with you before you get a suitable return on your investment.
If there is a lifetime commitment there is some certainty you get a return. if it is just a few years then you don't invest.
It is the investment and the return on it that is the crux.

5 moIt's different with family. My family abused me when I was younger so obviously I wanted to get away but couldn't being a kid. My uncle adopted me when I was 13. I have a girlfriend she's 19 and honestly she's the best thing that ever happened to me, besides my uncle. We both know that we will get married and have kids after school.
02 Reply- 5 mo
Um okay? i dont see how that answers my question
- 5 mo
Yeah sorry, I guess I lost my focus lol 😆 I guess what I am trying to say is it's different with family vs someone you spend the rest of your life with.
5 moLove is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration. You need attraction at the outset, but the fever wanes and what's left is what you and your partner build together, for better or worse.
At your age, wanting to create space from your family is healthy. Well done. Channel that productively to start defining who you are without reference to them... not to ditch your family, but they become mere additions to your life, like lots of other friendships, etc you will gain.

They got an award from the mayor for being married for so long. They were married right after high school, for 77 years when his grandma died I think.
01 Reply- 5 mo
U can't know if they’re the right person tho. And u do realise people got married to get married back in the day, no love was in the marriage, they just learned to deal with eachother.
Because if a woman changes hands all the time then she is cheap and untrustworthy.

5 moIt's a concept called, 'love". I was never thrilled with very many people in my immediate family, either but, then again, I was also never in love with any of them, either!!
02 Reply- 5 mo
why?
- 5 mo
Except for mom, they all treated me like shit!!
Every so often, I hear from people that actually love their brothers or sisters and I envy them because I never had that!! They never loved me and I had no reason to love any of them!
I've always felt like I was an only child in a family of 6!
I guess it's one of the reasons I get on so well now, seeing as how nearly everybody I knew and hung out with is either dead or lives too far away to come visit me. My best friend just died 3 weeks ago so, now, I'm COMPLETELY alone!!! I haven't been able to talk to my girlfriend in about a month because she's got some issues she needs to work out. Every time I call, I get her answering machine. Now, she doesn't want any contact from me until she gets her shit sorted out. 6 months ago, we used to talk every day for at least an hour and then my brand new phone died on me and it took me over 4 months to figure out what went wrong so, we went 4 months without talking. Now that I've got it fixed, as of a month ago, she's always sleeping or too busy to even answer her phone! Now, she doesn't even WANT to talk!!

- 5 mo
I'm not saying that you are, but I am not the same person I was at 16. I probably will be different in my 40s, too. For one, I'll be married. You are not going to be the same person as you are now, when you're older. You might find a person who you actually want to spend the rest of your life with, and then you'll understand why people do it.
- 5 mo
If i haven't met a single person I've wanted to spend more than 2 hours with in 16 years, i highly doubt it.

- 5 mo
@imjustagirl1520
No, you did not say that directly but you did indicate that you have been with your family for 15 years and it is tiring for you. That sentence implies that it must be tough for you. Hence I derived that meaning.
In the same way, it must be tough for people but it is possible to stay with a person for their lifetime. - 5 mo
I only mean what i say
5 moBecause real love and real marriage makes you wanna stay with the same person forever, not all our days would be perfect, there are ups and downs in life...
02 Reply- 5 mo
its rarely ever real love in marriage
- 5 mo
The problem isn't in marriage, it's from the couple, if someone ain't sure that he can love only one person forever and be 100% loyal than just don't get married, as simple as that...
5 moI really don't know. People have too many issues lol. For me to settle down the person would have to be perfect and add value to my life. That person doesn't exist so I'm staying single. 💯

My advice is just love yourself and don’t worry about boys, don’t get pregnant young, because guys can be pigs (no offense to the good men) but yeahh you’re gonna meet A LOT of boys but it can take lots of time if and when you meet the right guy. Life ain’t easy at all and people are more crappy nowadays

You never know unless you try but life may give you a second chance, I tried that with someone I thought I was gonna literally marry and knew since I was close to your age but got ghosted. Everything is a risk, the real question is if you wanna take those risks/chances.
