What kind of punishment would you want your child to receive if he were a paedophile?

Due to the unconditional love for my child I would want to smallest punishment possible.. I do not support paedophilia in anyway but your kids are your kids regardless of what they do and you would be remiss as a parent to not want the best for them always.

It would hurt immensely to think either of my kids would ever be that sick. I think if they just confess being attracted to kids then we can get them counseling but if they actually harm a child then they need to serve time and a good length of time too. They ruined a child's life, theirs should be ruined for a while too in jail and then have to register as a sex offender.

None. Paedophilia is mere attraction. We don't punish thoughts. Anyone who has sexually abused children, or attempted to, like Epstein and Trump and friends, should be removed from any contact with children.

Technically an attraction to sexually mature children (teens) is not paedophilia.
