Im pretty sure im only the favorite aunt of one my nieces because I defended her against my brother being so demanding of her and forcing her to be his slave practically. My dad and brother were/are very much into the idea of women are only here to serve men's interests mindset and I dont put up with that nonsense. She reaches out to me and my wife all the time and shares baby photos of her kids.

My nephew (her brother) keeps to himself so I doubt he even cares im alive and the youngest is special needs so she may not even remember me at this point.

My youngest brother lives in Germany so I haven't seen his kids in years. Thankfully he is not like my dad so im not worried about his kids in the same way as I do with my middle brother.

I am my nephew's favourite. He is very imaginative and I try to encourage that. We act out scenes from the hobbit or pretend Gollum is trying to steal his ring. And we play games together. Being the only nerds
in the family gives us a special bond 😄

But I am not so cool. I embarrass my not so nerdy niece 😆

My youngest brother I'm the only aunt. My sister in law has a younger brother.

My middle brother, her sister lives in Germany, so I'm their only aunt nearby. We video chat every week. If she's mad at her dad aka My little brother she'll say I'm calling your big sister, she'll be on my side. My brother teases her and says she's My big sister she's on my side lol
