Do you have a niece or nephew that you barely have contact with?

As you dont see your sibling very often therefore you dont see your nephew or niece that much in consequence you do not form part of yoru niece or nephew life. That is kind of sad right?

In my case. I have ahalf sister who has a 2 yrd old daughter. She does not live with us of course. But we dont see her that much beause she does not keep in touch with us so often,. She has her life we have ours but still just from time to time we manage to chat on whatassp and my sister from time to time go to her house and greet her and the niece and bring her some clothes. ALso from time to time the half sister sent us some videos of our niece doing something funny, but at the same time she does not like make us part of our nieces life that much. Our niece bday was last week, over Whatassp my sister sang her HB in a siblings Whatassp chat group we have that includes our half sister) and my brother and I texted her good wishes so our half sister know we knew it was the baby bday and we just wanted to say congratulations that is all so she knew we remember the day. Anyway our half sister did not even thank us for wishing the niece (her daughter) HB, she did not made any party for her or any gathering at all anyway. Instead she went to a loca beach with her partner and the baby.

And our half sister told us over text the day of her bday: Ohh im going to send you a an voice text message so you all can hear how much of a talker she is now." Well we still waiting for that voice text. Our half sister never sent us anything. she forgot. My sister say "well it looks like we are not a priority in our nieces life"
