Is it acceptable for my mom to control every purchase on my debit card?

About a year ago when I didn't have a job, I went on a spending spree and spent almost all my savings. My mom asked for my debit card, and said I could have it back when I get a job. I gave it to her, because if felt like it was for the best. I started working full time a little over a month ago. I wanted to buy something off Amazon that was around $30. She said she would buy it for me because she doesn't trust me with the debit card. On one hand its my life, and my money, but on the other hand she's probably saving me from going broke, and homeless.
