My mom always discourages me from growth?

Like when I say i wanna go back to college. Like why not? Mind you I was a gifted student back in the k12 days. She does it across the board I just gave u one example

Depends on what you’re like as a person. If you’re a naturally indecisive person and you tend to start projects or other things, get bored quickly and then never finish them, then I can understand why she’d discourage you from going back to college. Getting more student debt isn’t great when you can’t complete the study.


But if that’s not the case, then maybe she’s discouraging you because she doesn’t believe it’s financially possible? Are you able to afford it or are you planning on relying on her financially? She may not be able to afford it either.


I know that’s only one example that you gave, but there’s no clear answer as it depends on who you are as a person and how you planned on accomplishing that goal.
