Was my brother and his fiancée’s reaction to our honeymoon choice rude?

At our family dinner I told my brother and his finance’ where we were going for our honeymoon. The fiancé quickly said there’s a lot of volcanoes over there & then my brother said yeah and everybody goes over there. it was the strangest thing to me. especially with them going to Italy where’s there’s more volcanoes. I just shrugged and said hmmm.
