she's 37. She was arguing with me about some feminist crap, she thinks I keep her little sister barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen after I vetoed my wife loaning her $10,000 which she would never pay back for a new car. Been getting texts, letters, angry phone calls etc since. She actually tried to get her latest boyfriend to fight me, he laughed and shook me hand and hasn't been seen since. I've been pretty decent all the way through.

One of the benefits of being married for a woman is that they can say their husband won't let them do what they don't want to do anyway but don't want to refuse directly.
You don't say but I expect the $10,000 would be from joint funds. You have every right to veto and good on you for doing so. If she doesn't have the money it is unlikely she can afford and pay back.
Middle aged was just accurate is all.
Not just the money. Helping family is ok like with a loan if you can but when you know that person will just give you the big fuvk you if you ever needed help with anything. Also she'd never pay it back. By age 30 you ard who you are and she's screwed others over in her family
LOL, you did the right thing vetoing that loan to a family member. I did the same thing to one of my sisters once upon a time. She was a bad risk, plain and simple. She called me and told me she had found a car that was "to die for". I told her she couldn;t afford "to die for" and she should be looking for simple reliable inexpensive to own transportation. I said no to a loan. I said no to cosigning on a loan. Oh, the reason she was looking for a new car, she had just trashed her most recent car... AGAIN! She was a professional parasite.
As for calling your sister in law middle aged, technically that is a correct statement if she's 37.
Yeah. You think She's gonna depart the earth in her 60s? Smh.
Middle age (or middle adulthood) is the age range of the years halfway between young adulthood and old age. The term is commonly used to denote the age range from 40 to 64 years.
Lol. No wonder the gals are upset with you. Carry on, soldier.
He is married, girls like him
Not wrong.
Her lifestyle is her responsibility, not yours. She's pissed you're standing on boundaries (feminists big on that) because it's not beneficial to her.
Stand your ground.
Well, she sure as heck ain't no spring chicken anymore!
Hey, I'm 37 but I know that sometimes people just get pushed too far. You're only human, that kind of behaviour would make anyone snap. I have snapped with my family before. too, in the past.
You showed restraint. I would have called her many things much worse.
37 is exactly middle-aged based on life expectancy. It's exactly halfway.
she sounds like a stupid bitch
37 middle age?
