Have you ever run into someone after a long time and just not recognized them?

There are folks I've bumped into over the years -- many who I haven't even really thought of -- who turned up at conferences or events and just... I don't know... turned up. Some I'm happy to see, but others I wish would have stayed invisible...

Yes, I've run into 3 people in the last few years that I didn't recognize and they didn't say who they were. I realized who they were either hours, or a few days, after. Thinking back, I know they recognized me. Considering I talked to them directly, albeit in a business environment, I'm surprised they didn't say something.

Yes, , I was at the gym one morning and a guy asked me if I was me. I told hm that I was. It turns out he was my classmate in college. We were pretty good friend too. This guy looked like Tom Cruise 25 years ago , now he was completely bald and looked different.
